Asking Questions on Facebook

How do you figure out what your readers on facebook want to hear about?  Why is it that some pages have lots of feedback while others seem to lurch along with no interaction, regardless of the number of Likes on the page?

The short answer is that those who have lots of activity are providing the information that the readers are interested in.  They are engaged, entertained, shocked, or offended, and in any of these situations they are stimulated to interact with you, or your business page.

One simple way to find out what they are interested in is to use the “Ask questions” function on your facebook page.  Pose some questions that have an easy “single click” response, which could be a Yes/No, or a little more complex with multi-choice answers.

Either way you are making it as easy as a single click of the mouse for your visitors to tell you what they do or more importantly, don’t like about your page, and your content.
